Role Description:
Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. The Product Manager will be responsible for executing the product strategy with heart, hustle, and a sense of urgency.
Your role:
- Execute and deliver on key milestones on the product strategy that aligns with Highway’s overall business goals.
- Define product requirements, prioritize features and deliver on timelines. .
- Work closely with the development team to execute on key product launches.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and iterate on products.
Qualifications
- Experienced product manager with a proven track record of successfully meeting business requirements on product delivery and timelines.
- Background in the logistics and transportation industry and/or knowledge of logistics software systems is a preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Comfortable working with tools such as JIRA, Salesforce, Figma and Intercom.
- Eagerness to get in the weeds and sweat the details.
- Experience with the agile methodology in the software development life cycle.
- Track record working closely with developers and other technical team members.
- Demonstrated ability in excellent decision quality, critical thinking, and creative problem solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Strong ability to take direction and execute in order to meet business deadlines.
- Love for a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
